From supporting staff and volunteers to developing new projects and securing funding, Louise plays a vital role in ensuring the centre continues to grow and meet the changing needs of the community.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"913\">Her extensive local knowledge, strong community relationships, and genuine dedication to helping others have made her an invaluable part of the Forum\u2019s success over many years. Louise is passionate about creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where everyone feels supported, connected, and valued.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"915\" data-end=\"918\" \/>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1dn8a63\" data-start=\"920\" data-end=\"983\">Community Development Worker, Administrator &amp; Finance \u2014 Louise Askew<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"985\" data-end=\"1192\">Louise Askew has dedicated more than 25 years to working within the Voluntary, Community, and Faith Sector, building a wide range of experience in community development, administration, and project delivery.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1194\" data-end=\"1632\">Having both lived and worked within the local area for many years, Louise has a strong understanding of the community and the challenges people can face. Before joining the Forum, she spent over 10 years in retail management before moving into community work, volunteering for six years with Southey\/Shirecliffe Sure Start. She later worked as Office Manager at HealthWorks for more than five years before becoming part of the Forum team.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1634\" data-end=\"1989\">Today, Louise plays a key role in supporting the smooth running of the organisation. Her experience covers administration, finance, HR, contract management, customer service, recruitment, marketing, quality assurance systems, and event coordination. She also works closely with the Centre Manager to help secure funding and develop new community projects.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1991\" data-end=\"2280\">Over the years, Louise has helped develop and deliver a wide range of community initiatives, including projects supporting older people and individuals living with Dementia and Alzheimer\u2019s. Her dedication, compassion, and organisational skills make her an essential part of the Forum team.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"2282\" data-end=\"2285\" \/>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"cqblbf\" data-start=\"2287\" data-end=\"2325\">Chef &amp; Events Worker \u2014 Simon Lucas<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2327\" data-end=\"2491\">Simon Lucas is the friendly face behind the catering services at the community centre, helping create the warm and welcoming atmosphere that so many visitors enjoy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2493\" data-end=\"2817\">As Centre Chef and Events Worker, Simon prepares meals and refreshments for a wide range of groups and activities, including our popular Lunch Clubs, Memory Caf\u00e9s, Afternoon Tea Dances, and larger community events.
