Community Development Worker and Administrator – Louise Askew
Louise has been involved with community development many years, both living and working in the local community.  Starting her career as a manager in retail for over 10 years, Louise went on to volunteer in her local community for 6 years with Southey/Shirecliffe Sure Start.  She then gained employment with HealthWorks as Office Manager for over 5 years before becoming the administrator for the Forum.

Louise has experience in a wide variety of Development and Administration work and her role includes customer service, human resources, managing contracts, implementing and maintaining quality assurance systems, marketing, organising and servicing meetings, finance and recruitment.

Over her 24 years working in the Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector Louise’s skills have evolved into developing and delivering many Community Projects, including older people Dementia Projects.
